Summary: Our aim in this paper is to illustrate that the proof of main theorem of \textit{B. E. Rhoades} and \textit{M. Şoltuz} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 283, No. 2, 681--688 (2003; Zbl 1045.47057)] concerning the equivalence between the convergences of Ishikawa and Mann iterations for uniformly \(L\)-Lipschitzian asymptotically pseudocontractive maps is incorrect and to provide its correct version.
