The paper contributes to the axiomatic theory of roundings as they occur in actual computer computations. Interval roundings are investigated in the framework of the general theory of partially ordered topological spaces. In particular, the author establishes some general properties of roundings, (partly) characterizes them in the class of isotone mappings, and constructs a functional model of interval roundings, which sometimes reduces studying properties of roundings to analysing purely analytic questions.
