The authors study some general classes of systems of nonlinear hemivariational inequalities. Using a version of the fixed point theorem due to \textit{T.-C. Lin} [Bull. Aust. Math. Soc. 34, 107--117 (1986; Zbl 0597.47038)], they obtain several existence results. Some generalizations and applications of their results are indicated.
