In this paper, the authors provide a general formula to compute the contingent derivative of a class of set-valued mappings which can be considered as a generalization of some previous results. They also introduce the concepts of a gap function and a local optimal solution for the generalized weak vector variational inequalities and give some necessary and sufficient optimality conditions.
