The authors consider definite Hermitian matrices of order \(n\). They present some new matrix operator inequalities based on [\textit{B. Mond} and \textit{J. E. Pečarić}, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 209, No.~1, 147--153 (1997; Zbl 0879.15014)] for real valued convex functions in matrix form and discuss the properties of Jensen inequality for convex functions in matrix form.
