The paper is motivated by the following important question: What does one get when one integrates parameterized families of semialgebraic functions defined over \(\mathbb R\)? For this, the author considers rings of algebraic power series and shows that the Weierstrass division theorem and the Weierstrass preparation theorem hold in the corresponding ring. The last allows to apply model theoretic results on o-minimality to obtain an explicit description of parameterized integrals of semialgebraic functions.
