Varieties of minimal rational tangents on double covers of projective space (Q379235)

One powerful tool in studying Fano manifolds is the varieties of minimal rational tangents (VMRT). This project is largely carried out by Hwang and Mok in a series of papers. The paper under review studies the beautiful geometry of the double coves of projective spaces and its associated VMRT via a very explicit computation and description of the VMRT, which allows the authors to prove several consequences, like rigidity results, Liouville-type extension results, etc.
