An analytical approximation for coupled viscous Burgers' equation (Q380126)

The author presents a brief account of a technique for obtaining approximate solutions of coupled Burgers equations, including inhomogeneous systems with forcing terms. The system should be solved with given initial conditions. The method is based on a combination of the Laplace transform and the so-called homotopy perturbation method. Particular examples demonstrate that, in some cases, this techniques produces exact solutions.
