Balanced domains and convexity (Q382254)

Let \(D\subset\mathbb C^n\) be a bounded balanced pseudoconvex domain. The author proves that the following conditions are equivalent: (i) \(D\) is convex, (ii) there exists a holomorphic mapping \(F:D\times D\longrightarrow D\) such that \(F(z,z)=z\) and \(F(z,w)=F(w,z)\) for all \(z,w\in D\) ((ii) is invariant under biholomorphic transformations of \(D\)). Moreover, the author discusses a generalization of the above result to the case where \(D\) is \((\alpha_1,\dots,\alpha_n)\)-balanced with \(\alpha_i\in\{1,2\}\), \(i=1,\dots,n\).
