In this survey, the authors consider the development of ideas of the averaging method for some classes of set-valued impulsive systems: impulsive differential inclusions, impulsive differential equations and inclusions with Hukuhara derivative, fuzzy impulsive differential equations and inclusions. The generalization of the averaging method to the case of asymptotic integration of impulsive differential and inclusions is of great theoretical and practical importance for the following reasons: -- the complex structure of impulsive systems encounters significant difficulties, whereas the averaged system becomes impulse-free; --- the solution of the averaged system approximates the solution of the original system with any prescribed accuracy on asymptotically large time intervals.
