This paper deals with the moduli space of pointed curves equipped with a meromorphic function with prescribed polar part. More specifically, the poles are just along the marked points and they have prescribed order. The author takes a rather stacky point of view. The unique restriction about the base field is that its characteristic does not divide the order of the poles.NEWLINENEWLINEThe author studies a compactification of this moduli space which was originally constructed in [\textit{T.
