Pseudo-Riemannian spectral triples and the harmonic oscillator (Q390951)

The purpose of this paper as given by the authors is to develop a framework for accessing the topological data associated with a pseudo-Riemannian manifold, commutative or non commutative. The main theorem shows that a spectral triple can be obtained from a pseudo-Riemannian spectral triple. A consequence of this result is the existence of a \(K\)-homology class. The example of the harmonic oscillator demonstrates the applicability of the main theorem to much more than classical pseudo-Riemannian manifolds.
