The aim of this note is to present the recent results of the authors in [``KAM for autonomous quasi-linear perturbations of KdV'', \url{arXiv:1404.3125}]. The authors prove the existence and stability of Cantor families of quasi-periodic, small-amplitude solutions of quasi-linear (also called strongly nonlinear) autonomous hamiltonian perturbations of the Korteweg-de Vries equation.
