Summary: We present a model for the dynamics of a population where the age distribution and the social structure are taken into account. This results in an integro-differential equation in which the kernel of the integral term may depend on a functional of the solution itself. We prove the well posedness of the problem with some regularity properties of the solution. Then, we consider some special cases and provide some simulations.
