An open problem on inverse matrices from industrial organization, and a partial solution (Q417592)

The author proposes a large class of matrices, from industrial organization, whose inverses yield the strategic equilibria in most linear oligopoly models. The paper provides a partial solution to the computation of the inverse of a spacial category of such matrices. A complete understanding of these matrices remains unknown and their properties form a long list of open problems.
