Let \(\Lambda\) be the cross section lattice of an irreducible representation of a semisimple algebraic group. Certain combinatorial properties of \(\Lambda\) are studied. Supersolvable \(\Lambda\)'s are determined in terms of Dynkin diagrams. The characteristic polynomial of a supersolvable \(\Lambda\) is computed.
