The authors study a noncommutative analog of the d-bar operator for a domain with boundary in the complex plane subject to the boundary condition of Atiyah-Patodi-Singer (APS) type. The authors find that the quantum d-bar operators for the quantum disk and the quantum annulus subject to an APS condition are unbounded Fredholm operators with compact parametrices, and have their indices explicitly computed.
