This paper deals with a class of quasilinear elliptic equations with Dirichlet boundary condition. The nonlinear term is assumed to have a subcritical growth in the sense of Adimurthi. The main result of the present paper establishes the existence of at least three distinct weak solutions. The proof relies of the three critical points theorem of Ricceri.
