This book is an excellent one. Using only the basis of the symmetry principles, the author gives a systematic description of intramolecular quantum dynamics. This approach is neither introducing a configuration space of the molecular system in explicit form, nor considering in explicit form the wave functions of the coordinates of this space. This method used by the author is the best possible for the solution of many topical problems of the internal dynamics of molecules. In this book author first introduces the group theoretical methods. The author then focuses on the qualitative intramolecular quantum dynamics, including rigid and non-rigid molecules. This book is rich in content, and clear in arguments. For Physicists and Mathematicians on theoretical studies in intramolecular quantum dynamics the book has a very useful reference value. This book can very well be used as graduate student course.
