The author studies the generalized Cauchy problem for a system of first order quasilinear equations with singular coefficients and with the Cauchy data distributed over two or more surfaces. The existence and uniqueness of local analytic solutions are established. These solutions are obtained in the form of convergent power series, the formulas for the coefficients of these series are also presented.
