Summary: We investigate the stability of a predator-free equilibrium point of predator-prey systems with prey refuges by using an analytical approach. Under some very weak assumption, we show that the conditions that ensure the local asymptotical stability of the predator-free equilibrium point are consistent with those for the global asymptotical stability ones.
