An improper affine sphere is an affine sphere with constant affine normal. The study of the improper affine spheres is related to the Monge-Ampère equation, minimal surfaces, Lagrangian immersions, fronts, etc. The authors give some results concerning the value distribution properties of the Lagrangian Gauss map of improper affine fronts in affine 3-space \(\mathbb R^3\).
