The authors explore terminal coalgebras independently studied by Dana Scott and Jan Rutten. According to the authors, Scott's approach is based on limit construction whereas Rutten's approach is based on behaviours of states in the concerned systems. The authors demonstrate that Scott's study is a special case of the concept called coalgebra relatively terminal with respect to a given algebra.NEWLINENEWLINEThe authors' development of the paper is a testimony to the organizing power of analyzing various concepts to a universal state.
