The paper presents a new way of computing the norm of a composition operator on weighted Bergman spaces of the unit disk induced by symbol functions of the form \(\varphi(z)=az+b\), where \(a\) and \(b\) are complex constants satisfying \(|a|+|b|\leq1\).
