The author investigates the relationships between the Arens regularity of some bilinear mappings and Banach algebras. Let \(A, B\) be Banach algebras. Among other things, he shows that \(B\) factors with respect to \(A\) if and only if the second topological dual \(B^{**}\) is unital as an \(A^{**}\)-module for a Banach \(A\)-bimodule \(B\).
