This paper deals with the evaluation of power sums of reciprocals of roots for systems of entire or meromorphic functions with finite orders of growth. The authors present a very interesting connection of the power sums of roots with some residue integral. Then, by utilizing the Laurent series, computational formulae of power sums of reciprocals of roots are derived.
