This paper deals with Schrödinger operators having a periodic potential and \(\delta\)-type vertex conditions on a metric graph, which is called the degenerate zigzag nanotube. The authors consider the spectrum and demonstrate that the spectrum has band structure. Moreover, they give the asymptotics of the band edges. The results are new and valuable.
