The authors deduce some fine geometric properties of basic vector fields on Carnot-Carathéodory spaces under minimal assuptions on smoothness. These lead to estimates of the approximation of a Carnot-Carathéodory space by local homogeneous groups. This argument will conduce to achieve a contribution to isoperimetric inequalities for the \(C^2\)-hypersurfaces in a Carnot-Carathéodory space replaced by \(C^1\)-ones.
