Summary: We generalize the result of \textit{S. B. Prešić} [C. R. Acad. Sci., Paris 260, 3828--3830 (1965; Zbl 0125.39805); Publ. Inst. Math., Nouv. Sér. 5(19), 75--78 (1965; Zbl 0134.04205)] to metric-like spaces by proving some common fixed point theorems for Prešić type mappings in metric-like spaces. An example is given which shows that the generalization is proper.
