In this paper, the authors simplify an example of shear flow in the half-space, constructed by \textit{K. Kang} [Math. Ann. 331, No. 1, 87--109 (2005; Zbl 1064.35135)]. This example show that, the gradient of a solution with bounded velocity field to both Stokes system and Navier-Stokes system with homogeneous boundary conditions and initial conditions may become unbounded near the boundary.
