The paper deals with the approximation of fractional resolution families with respect to space and time. The fractional temporal derivative is taken in the usual Caputo sence. The authors use the notions of a general approximation scheme including the finite difference method, the finite element method, and projection methods. The discretization is presented and convergence results are derived.
