Magnetic susceptibility and Landau diamagnetism of a quantum collisional degenerate plasma (Q499425)

A kinetic description of magnetic susceptibility of a quantum collisional degenerate plasma is presented here, based on the correct formula for the electric conductivity [\textit{A. V. Latyshev} and \textit{A. A. Yushkanov}, Theor. Math. Phys. 175, No. 1, 559--569 (2013); translation from Teor. Mat. Fiz. 175, No. 1, 132--143 (2013; Zbl 1286.82026)]. Now, the exact expression for the transverse conductivity is used. This is claimed to be first kinetic description of the magnetic susceptibility of a quantum collisional degenerate plasma that uses the correct expression of the transverse conductivity and a formula of Landau diamagnetism of a degenerate collisional plasma.
