A numerical scheme for the solution of a resonance scattering problem on a hole on a boundary surface with a discontinuous acting group is considered. This scheme is optimal in the number of operations, since it constructs three grid functions simultaneously. The authors show that the numerical solution of the problem at hand on the hole can be written as a discrete analog of the potential density of a simple layer on the boundary surface.
