Scattering theory for Lindblad master equations (Q514327)

This paper considers a quantum-mechanical system where a particle is scattered off a dynamical target confined to a compact region of physical space, such as a phonon field of a crystal lattice, a quantum gas, or a ferro-magnet. The main theme in the paper is to give mathematical models for the scattering processes in such systems with taking into account the possibility of particle capture by the target. The models are described in the scheme of the scattering theory for a class of Lindblad operators.
