The aim of this paper is to present a simple illustrated explanation of some remarkable identities about certain sums and integrals of the sinc function (where \(\text{sinc}(x)= \sin(x)/x\) for \(x\neq 0\); and \(=1\), for \(x=0\)). There are utilized such tools as convolution, Fourier series expansions and Parseval's theorem.
