This paper focusses on the study of smooth optimal control with state constraints. The conditions of the Pontryagin maximum principle are studied in the Gamkrelidze and in the Dubovitskii-Milyutin forms, where the equivalence between these two forms is valid if the state constraint function is twice continuously differentiable.
