The authors consider a model based on a one-dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger equation with a self-attractive cubic nonlinearity, an attractive delta-functional potential, an external driving force (a free term in the equation), and a linear dissipation term. The model is treated as a dynamical system with infinitely many degrees of freedom. The asymptotic evolution of the solutions is rigorously analyzed, and the existence of a global attractor is proved.
