Asphericity results for ribbon disk complements via alternate descriptions (Q531281)

The author gives an alternative description for ribbon disk complements in the 4-ball which is quite close to the standard description. Presentations are read off these descriptions which are not too far away of the standard labeled oriented tree presentations. Then some asphericity results are achieved from these descriptions which are based on well known results. By using a relative homotopy group another asphericity result is obtained. None of these results leads to new classes of aspherical labeled oriented trees.
