Continuous paths \(f: [a, b] \rightarrow X\) in a Banach space \(X\) which admit an equivalent \(C^{1,\alpha}\)-parametrization are characterized. The applied methods generalize those used in the \(C^{2}\)-case. Concrete examples illustrate the main result.
