The Brown-Golasiński model structure on the category of strict \(\infty\)-groupoids is a model structure obtained from the equivalent category of crossed complexes. The category of strict \(\infty\)-groupoids also has a model structure obtained from the folk model structure on the category of strict \(\infty\)-categories. In this paper, it is shown that the two model structures on the category of strict \(\infty\)-groupoids are in fact the same.
