Summary: The numerical solution of a differential equation of Lane-Emden type is considered by Padé approximation. We apply this method to two examples. First the differential equation of Lane-Emden type is converted to a power series by a one-dimensional differential transformation, then the numerical solution of the equation is put into Padé series form. Thus, we obtain a numerical solution of the differential equation of Lane-Emden type.
