Summary: We define the basic \(k\)-nacci sequences and the basic periods of these sequences in finite groups. Then we obtain the basic periods of the basic \(k\)-nacci sequences and the periods of the \(k\)-nacci sequences in the symmetric group \(S_4\), its subgroups, and binary polyhedral groups which are related with these groups.
