In the paper under review, the authors study derivations of commutative power-associative algebras using the Peirce decomposition of such an algebra (Theorem 2.1). Moreover, they investigate some particular cases of stable and partially stable algebras and prove that the core of a power-associative \(n\)th-order Bernstein algebra is a Jordan algebra (Theorem 4.8)
