Limit theorems for splines with increasing degrees and number of knots are of interest both in theory and in practice. An important case is when these splines are interpolating prescribed data. This article considers discrete periodic splines and their limits. The limits are taken with respect to both degree and number of knots. In case these tend to infinity, the double limits are shown to exist and to be trigonometric polynomials which interpolate the data.
