On deviations and strong asymptotic functions of meromorphic functions of finite lower order (Q549774)

In 1969, Petrenko introduced the function of deviation by means of a new metric. This led to new developments in Nevanlinna theory. In this vein, the authors obtain some interesting results for transcendental meromorphic functions \(f\) of lower order with \(N(r, f) =S(r, f)\). Furthermore, the authors manage to obtain some noteworthy upper estimates of the number of strong asymptotic rational functions and strong rational asymptotic spots of meromorphic functions.
