Classes of Finslerian metrics of \(m\)-th root type satisfying special curvature conditions are the subject of this short note. There are two main reduction results for these \(m\)-th root metrics: 1. a metric with isotropic Landsberg curvature is a Landsberg metric; 2. a metric with almost vanishing \(H\)-curvature has, in fact, vanishing \(H\)-curvature.
