On the visibility in well-behaved random sets in Euclidean space (Q553054)

The author obtains results on the asymptotic visibility in the Poisson Boolean model of continuum percolation in Euclidean space. These results extend and strengthen results obtained in [\textit{P. Calka, J. Michel} and \textit{S. Porret-Blanc}, ``Asymptotics of the visibility function in the Boolean model'', to appear in Ann. Appl. Probab. (2009), \url{arXiv:0905.4874}]. The author uses techniques from [\textit{I. Benjamini, J. Jonasson, O. Schramm} and \textit{J. Tykesson}, Lect. Notes Compu. Sci. 5547, 323--324 (2009; Zbl 05561117)], instead of the coverage methods that are used in the paper by Calka et al. [loc. cit.].
