Die Methode des Verf. beruht auf der Bemerkung, daß\ die Anzahl der Familien mit \(n\) Kindern gleich ist der Differenz der Anzahlen der Kinder, die als \(n\)-tes und als \((n+1)\)-tes Kind in der Ehe geboren worden sind. (Störungen durch Mortalität usw. sind vom Verf. nicht berücksichtigt worden. )
