    Verf. stellt an die Wellengleichung zwei Bedingungen, die erfüllt sein sollen. Erstens soll sich aus ihr ein Erhaltungssatz \[ \text{\div } \sigma + \frac {\partial \varrho }{\partial t} = 0 \qquad (\varrho = \psi \psi ^{\ast }) \] ableiten lassen. Zweitens soll noch eine Beziehung \[ \frac {d}{dt}\int \psi \frac {\partial \psi ^{\ast }}{\partial t} d\tau = \frac {2\pi }{ih} \int \psi \left \{\frac {\partial }{\partial t} H \left (q, \frac {h}{2\pi i} \frac {\partial }{\partial q}, t\right ) \right \} \psi ^{\ast } d\tau, \] äquivalent der invarianten Beziehung \[ \frac {d}{dt} \Phi H \Psi = \Phi \frac {\partial H}{\partial t} \Psi, \] bestehen, welch letztere in einer \textit{Heisenberg}-Darstellung leicht verifizierbar ist. Voraussetzung dafür ist \[ \frac {ih}{2\pi }\left (\xi - \frac {\partial \xi }{\partial t}\right ) = \xi H - H\xi \] und die Wellengleichung \[ \frac {ih}{2\pi } \frac {\partial \psi ^{\ast }}{\partial t} = H \left ( q, -\frac {ih}{2\pi } \frac {\partial }{\partial q}, t\right ) \psi ^ *. \] Verf. verifiziert die Erfülltheit der beiden Bedingungen für die Fälle der gewöhnlichen \textit{Schrödinger}-Gleichung und der \textit{Dirac}-Gleichung. Die zweite Bedingung ist aber nicht im Fall der relativistischen Wellengleichung zweiter Ordnung erfüllt.
