    Das Elektron hat den Spin \(\frac {1}{2} \frac {h}{2\pi }\) und das magnetische Moment \(2 \cdot \frac {e}{2m_e c} \frac {h}{4\pi } = 1\) \textit{Bohr}sches Magneton, in Überstimmung mit der \textit{Dirac}schen Theorie. Das Proton hat ebenfalls einen Spin (mechanischer Drehimpuls) vom Betrag \(\frac {h}{4\pi }\). Darum wäre ein magnetisches Moment \(2 \cdot \frac {e}{2m_{\lambda } c} \frac {h}{4\pi } = \frac {1}{1840}\) \textit{Bohr}sches Magneton, \(=1\) Kernmagneton zu erwarten. Es ist aber experimentell zu 2,5 Kernmagneton ermittelt.
